Join the online webinar on Public Procurement E-learning modules
Do you want to learn more about responsible and innovative procurement?
Each year, more than 250,000 public authorities in the EU spend together about € 2 trillion (2,000,000,000,000 euro!) each year on the procurement of services, works and supplies.
Those public authorities can choose how to spend this money: either they choose the cheapest available option or something more expensive with better quality.
But it is also possible to contribute to policy objectives, such as sustainability or social goals. In that case, you want to spend your money responsibly, in which you try to find the best mix of price, quality and policy ambitions. And sometimes that should be realised through innovation. It is all about wanting to spend responsibly and innovatively.
The Urban Agenda Partnership on Innovative and Responsible Public Procurement has deliberated about the best way to achieve this goal and has come up with a free E-learning module on Public Procurement which can be accessed via Urban Agenda - Public Procurement (maester.com).
The E-learning module on Public Procurement will guide you through the following topics, under the theme of responsible and innovative public procurement:
- Legal framework
- Measuring spend
- Strategy
- Circular procurement
- Knowledge exchange
- Innovation brokerage
- Funds
