The Urban Agenda for the EU Partnership on Greening Cities invites cities and financial sector actors to participate in two newly launched surveys aimed at identifying barriers, opportunities, and innovative approaches to funding and financing urban nature restoration and green infrastructure. Your responses will directly influence recommendations for future EU policy, support and funding & financing frameworks on this topic.

Contribute to EU Policy on Green Infrastructure

With climate resilience and sustainable urban development at the forefront of the EU’s agenda, the Greening Cities Partnership aims to ensure that financing strategies for green infrastructure are effective, scalable, and well-supported. Your input will help develop policy recommendations to improve funding and financing mechanisms for urban nature restoration and green infrastructure, ensuring that cities have access to the financial tools they need to expand nature-based solutions. Additionally, the results will contribute to the identification of nine exemplary case studies showcasing successful financing approaches, offering inspiration and guidance for urban practitioners and investors across Europe.
