October has been an intensive and productive month for the members and coordinators of the Thematic Partnership on Sustainable Tourism. They have collaboratively engaged in a series of meetings and events with the goal of propelling the progress of a draft Action Plan.

The purpose of the session "Nourishing Europe's Values with Sustainable Tourism" is to engage in a meaningful dialogue with esteemed guest speakers and the audience regarding the ongoing development of the Sustainable Tourism Urban Agenda for the EU Partnership. The primary focus during this session is to delve into specific issues related to tourism in urban areas, recognising it as a pivotal element in fostering sustainable development within urban economies.

Cultural heritage is a major cultural, economic and ecological resource and, thus, crucial for the preservation and resilience of European communities. At the same time, cultural heritage is vulnerable to a vast range of risks and disasters, which are increasingly becoming a part of everyday life in Europe.

The objective of the present Call for Applications is to select Thematic Partnership Officers (TPOs) who will provide support to the Thematic Partnership as well as a TPO Process Curator who will be responsible for managing and coordinating the team of TPOs.

Cities, Regions, Member States, Partner States, national city umbrella organisations, and other stakeholders are invited to apply and become partner of the new Thematic Partnerships under the Urban Agenda for the EU (UAEU): Food and Cities of Equality.

With the delivery of the Orientation Paper, the coordinators and members of the thematic partnership on Sustainable Tourism have reached an important milestone. The paper describes the objectives and working method of the partnership, including meetings in order to prepare, adopt and implement the Action Plan.

The Urban Agenda for the EU partnership on Greening Cities proudly presents its Orientation Paper! This papers marks a significant milestone as it outlines the objectives of the partnership and details its collaborative approach.

The European Urban Initiative is looking for an intern to join the Permanent Secretariat (PS) based in Lille (France), to provide assistance to the Urban Agenda for the EU.
